Dear "March Goodness" contributors:
As the President of the Board of
the Syracuse Center For Peace and Social Justice, Inc., I want to extend my
thanks to you for donating online to help us try to make
"The Final Four" in our
online donation processor's "March Goodness" tournament.
We went all
out to try to make the "Final Four" round, which would have qualified us to
compete for a $10,000 grand prize. Like SU, we did not quite make it,
but we raised an impressive $2,799 from 223 donations, finished second in our
region, and earned $750 in prize money from the contest on top of that!
We are very grateful to the folks at
Razoo.com,
the contest sponsor, for the event and the prize money.
That $3,549 of
money toward adding accessibility to our Center came to us because of the
overwhelming support we got in the from those 223 of you! In addition to
getting us that much closer to our goal, it is also serving to inspire our
work just knowing that so many people support us!
For all that, and
more, the Center, and I, thank you. We are deeply grateful for the show
of support.
